Guest guest
Because he still needs it. How long were you on it? This is one of the prime ways to know if you are done with antivirals. If you try to stop and they regress, then 1. it's definitely helping and 2. you're not done with it. Cheryl~http://www.gryffins-tail.blogspot.com~@midian42~ Hi everybody, When we stop to use valtrex. My son is more agressive and less social. Do you know why is this happening? Best wishes, Serpil
Guest guest
I wanted to add, if there was ever any question as to whether or not it was helping, there's your answer.Anytime a regression occurs when you *stop* something, that gives you as much valuable information as what happens when you start something. I hear from a lot of parents that stopped something because they didn't think it was doing anything only to discover that when they stopped, their child regressed. The changes that you may see from starting may be subtle or occur so slowly that you just don't notice or tie it in until you've stopped. I especially hear this a lot with antivirals. The changes don't always wow you but then you realized afterwards that this was *major* and really did bring in wows when you say "wow" to the regression happening right before your eyes. After 3 years, I'm still unable to take my son off of antivirals without a regression of some sort. Guest guest
I am guessing that some viruses stay in the body and valtrex keeps them suppressed. So when you stop, the viruses replicate again. Maybe some viruses you never really get rid of, or maybe just the common cold gets the child going. In our case, every time my child gets the common cold he is a mess if I don't have antimicrobials/antiinflammatories on board. If he sneezes right before bed, I know he will wake up a complete monster!! > > > > > > > Hi everybody, > > When we stop to use valtrex. Guest guest
Dear , It also helps testing for HHV6 viruses frequently. Every 2-3 months.
