Oh, Bonnie: Believe me I know how tired you must be of all of this. It's

dawned on me that I have to find some way to spur our locals forward. No

one has any inclination to do anything until finishes Perkins. At the

risk of being completely non-PC, people cause problems. Know that I'm

thinking of you and feeling much of what you are. Martha

Bonnie,

Does her record ever include the labels of OCD or TS or the fact that she

takes psychiatric medications? If so maybe a clarification of how these

impact her, what symptoms are and why they would not present a danger to

herself or others.

Kim,

The interesting part of all of this is that in the beginning I sent them tons

and tons of Patty's medical information. They say they got everything but

one. That is the report from Patty's Psych saying she has Tourettes and OCD.

When asked why they want this information now they said it was due to the

doctor writing on the application that she might have a little difficulty with

making a decision (or something like that). If they did " find " the paperwork

with

the Tourettes report then why would they get a cognitive disabilities label?

And why do they need a functional assessment? Sounds kind of stinky to me.

All her life there were opinions and closemindedness. It is happening again.

By the way, so what about cognitive disabilities. Wouldn't that be a reason

a person would require " the Ride? "

The one thing I faught against all her life is having " Professionals " limit

her cognative abilities. So far she has proven all but one wrong. The one

that got it right was---- at Perkins.

Bonnie,

It does seem they saw something in writing that they are making a judgment

about. Good luck.
