Crab omelette. Crab croquettes. Crabmeat La Louisianne. (with toast,

poached eggs, and crabmeat sauce in a Mornaise base. Wunnerful!!!

Tell 'em to buy a Brennans' cookbook!) Actually, though, don't waste

the crabmeat in such as that. Just order a West Indies Salad.

Tell 'em to call me if they don't know how to make it, and I will

share the recipe.

No, not really! It's just that it's p*ssing everyone else off. My

sister, who's only a year older. And my better half shaved off his

beard yesterday so he'll only look like my father and not my

grandfather ... heehee!

Ummm... not to bring up past history, but I seem to remember that

your sister is due a bit of aggravation from you, just to even some

old scores... As for you're better half, I'm thinking that he's

probaby gorgeous with or without his beard, as indeed he should be to

have so fine a lady as you on his arm.

But nobody tells me I'm looking a day younger, alas. I did, however,

after an MLD treatment, get told that my skin looks 1,000 percent

better!

For What it's worth..... I turned 45 in March.... I do not look it... still

passs for 31 really... yet when the grays pop along... I know I need another

coloring! I do not dress 45 " frumpy aka all polyester ala grandma clothes

and sensible shoes " are not for me. OK.... I've ploppped on 40 lbs since

going on Zoloft last year and am back at the gym fighting my best battle to

dump the 40 extra pounds of cargo.. Loves my hips, thighs and abs the

most...... But I still run around in shorts and camisole tops in the summer.

Getting old isn't for me no matter how much hubby chooses to be old... Of

course grandbaby #2 due in this coming February *sigh* not ready to be a

grandma yet and already have been one for over a year now... Guess that's

another ball game altogether eh?

Yup - I like him with or without the facial hair, but I just wish

he'd be more predictable about it. Sometimes I come home and it's

just gone.

Those 10 pounds I didn't want have come off thanks to the lovely

liquid diet and lack of motivation to eat. Now we're going to do a

healthier diet and include more exercise so that we can stay a little

trimmer. It's my better half that can use it the most. He is eating

the same diet as me right now, right down to the mush!

Here's to feeling young, anyhow!

cusp (doesn't Libra start 22nd Sept?).

Given the Libran propensity for weighing all sides and having

difficulty making decisions, it's surprising I ever made my mind up

on any of this orthognathic business ...

You're right, my bad. For some reason I was thinking the 27th/28th,

not 22nd/23rd. I should have known, because my husband was born on

October 22 and he's on the Libra/Scorpio cusp. I'm right in the

middle and very typical for my sign. Last year's birthday was awful

though because of all the horrible terrorist attacks, I didn't much

feel like celebrating the day after all those poor people lost their

lives. I should be thankful that my birthday wasn't actually on the

11th (I was born early in the morning, my folks sent my grammy a

telegram since I was born in Spain and I am now in possession of that

telegram where it tells what time I was born, how much I weighed,

etc.)though, I'd never feel like celebrating again.

Yup, right on the cusp. Time of birth places me farther into the

Libran camp, but I seem to have been cursed with the worst traits of

both signs.
