Guest guest
hi! i just had a quick question about keeping your mouth clean post- surgery....i keep reading posts that say that their waterpiks really helped them to keep their mouths relatively gunk free after surgery. however, my surgeon and orthodontist cautioned me against using them, saying that they may cause your stitches to tear and lead to infection.......is that true? are you supposed to use them a certain way to prevent damage? thanks for your input and experience - i don't think i could have made it this far without the support of this site! kat (LA)
