Outpatient Surgical Hospital - Gait Training

There is a new surgery center opening in our area and a couple of the M.D.'s

have asked if we'd be interested in providing gait training immediately post-op

for patients before they are sent home. I think we could bill an evaluation

/gait training for this using an alternative place of service code, but that

would probably keep us from billing an evaluation at the clinic once we started

them there a few days later. So, the net would be a gait training code. There

are logistics to be worked out regarding timing, because you couldn't have a

therapist sitting there all day for 4-6 gait training codes. Does anyone have a

similar relationship or has anyone seen this done? I appreciate your feedback.
