Hi all,

My six year old son is recovering (nicely) from Autism. However, I want to have

his baby teeth tested for mercury/lead etc. I want this info for specific

purposes.

Has anyone done this from a good lab that they could recommend and give me

contact info and/or if you received good, accurate info? Any idea about price?

Any information would help a lot.

I'm really behind on my emails so apologies if someone else has already provided this info. Here's an email response from the lab that I used:

The cost for mercury is $45.00 and is a separate test for the heavy metals. We can do a 28 element screen for $75.00. The combined cost would be $120.00 for both.

If you want to send a sample, you can wrap the tooth in a paper towel and then place in a zip lock bag. The small envelopes, with bubble wrap on the inside, is good to send through the mail. Please include the age of the tooth, male or female and your contact information, address, phone, email and a check made payable to MMET Inc. for the desired level of testing. We also accept all major credit cards. If you wish to pay by credit we will call you when the tests are complete for your credit card information. Results should be available within 3-5 business days.

I passed through your area several years ago, very pretty country. I hope the treatments are going well.
