Hi Rose,

I don't attend the NWH meetings, but here they're wonderful, glad you

enjoyed them, and made you a bit more comfortable.

As far as the vitamins...I was told that taking them prior to surgery is

fine as well, but again, check with your Dr. to see what they prefer you do.

I do know, you don't want to be taking aspirin of any sort (tylenol ok), to

prevent bleeding during surgery. I've always tried to take my multi's

before hand to begin with, but calcium and such, I didn't start until after

surgery.

Do you have a date scheduled as yet? If so when is it? If not, any idea's

as to when yet?

Best of luck to you Rose, and feel free to ask us anything you wish! We're

all here to help, or direct you in any possible ways we can!

hello to everyone,

I just want to say thank you to everyone at the support group at

Newton wellesley, and this web site....It has made the process of

getting here today very easy..I very scared and very excited at the

same time..Looking forward to my new lease on life...Hope to go to

the monthly meeting in november..

ask a medicine question to the post people..when do I have to start

taking the b12, calcium , daily vitamins, ....

I think I start after the semi soft period...3-4 weeks but not sure...

I thank you all again, and god bless and hope to see you all again.

Rose,

Best of luck tomorrow at 1 p.m. Will be thinking of you and praying

for you. See you at the November Support Group Meeting already thinner.

You will already be losing weight and will be way ahead of me.

Take care. Sally
