Guest guest
My younger son Sam, who is now nearly 7, was very stubborn about potty training. He wasn't fully until he was 5 - this is a smart, really " with it " kinda kid (he's deaf) who is extremely stubborn about all things in life, including potty training! We didn't make a big deal out of it and it gradually got to the point he'd do all his business at preschool, at home he'd pee in the potty, but not poo. We finally resorted to bribes (a quarter everytime he pooped in the potty) - it worked like a charm. My older son was a tad over three when he fully trained. I think of myself as a good mom but geez! We were desperate. I don't think I'd worry overmuch about a child who's not yet three not being potty trained - give her time to do things when she wants to. It can become a battle which you don't want (which we experienced with our younger son!). Good luck!
