Policies and Procedures for Observation

Hi, all:

 

I am a physical therapist working in a hospital-based outpatient clinic. 

Apparently our policies and procedures for observation only cover students who

are observing through a PT/ PTA school program.  However, we often have people

who want to observe in our clinic to meet their requirements for application to

PT/ PTA school.  Our HR department has told us that we have to have a student

affiliation agreement on file.  Since this would not be available, we cannot

have them come on site.

 

Does anyone have written policies and procedures regarding observation?  Any

information would be helpful, but more assistance might come from a

hospital-based clinic or even a clinic in the Community Health Systems

organization.  Thanks in advance!!!
