Guest guest
bless you i know what you mean about pain i get severe depression on top of the pain. i have lupus, thyroid disorder my thyroid don't work i take meds for that. i am bipolar; fybromyalgia, micoprolaps valve in the bottom of my heart. i also have RA. i had a dr appt yesterday with my pm dr. i have been seeing her for three years. i went to see her yesterday she said my blood work come back with nothing in my system i was floored. told her i want another blood test. i never did see the results for myself. all she gave me was a list of dr names telling me to find me another dr asap. i have cried all night. i look like a monster my face is so swelled. i just keep thinking god hands a reason for this but i cant see it right now. i need some support, i dread the pain of withdrawal, and the pain of all my real ailments together. if anyone is reading this has been thru this before please email me. I'm starting to look at things darkly with no good turn out. i have a 14 year old, that is what i am living for right now. but what good am i going to be depressed in pain and can't get out of bed? i hope all of you that suffer from severe pain that today you will have a good day. and i send you a smile to warm your heart. just send some hope my way. Chelsea: I have never heard of a blood test, but urine testing will show that. My pain contract does state you must take the medications as directed. Last month when I had to go to the ER, I was put on phenergan and did not take my ocycodone, as it was doubly sedating and I told my nurse practitioner. You have to let them know, if you did or did not take the medication as many addicts get prescriptions and sell them. Have you ever been in violation of your contract because you need to call the office manager and talk to her if your doctor is going to be that way. I was told last month I had diazepam in my system and I DO NOT take anything like that and she saw where I was prescribed a sleeping medication and entered in my chart I was okay. I have not had to do urine checks for two months but were having them every month until them. You need to write a memo to be placed in your chart explaining why you didn't or request a repeat blood test. Have it put in your records for documentation and include your three year history. Your doctor has to give you medication. I would also call the lab that did your work and also see if they have any complaints against them. Everyone needs to read your pain contract and it could happen to you. If I don't take my medication for some reason, vomiting etc, I write it on the form they give you every office visit as this is in your pain contract as one of the items they can dismiss your for. You are better off if your doctor is going to treat you this way but they usually give you a month to check for a false positive, either way. Talk to the office manager. You can also report to state licenser. Bennie
