Does a HSG test help to see how much of the tubes are destroyed? Can a DR tell at that point if they can be fixed? I think this group is way cool and i hope to get to know you all well. Guest guest
Welcome to the group! The HSG test should be able to tell you if the tubes are damaged or how much of them are left after the TL. Good Luck! Well I had a problem with my test and the dr. here in TX told me that ivf was the best option but after talking to dr. Levin he said that test doesn't mean anything. He said of course the tubes will show they are blocked, after all you did have a tubal done,he also said that all it shows is the length of the tubes from the point they were cut or whatever procedure you had done. The closer they are to the uterus also means that you have a better chance of having a greater length of tubes left on the other side. The best way is to get your operative and pathology reports and send them to him. Dr. Levin is really a great Dr. Good Luck. Tammy

Guest guest
Kris, I don't think the desire for family approval ever goes away totally, but there's no reason you can't make your own family of people you care about and who care about you. You can choose your biological relatives, but you can choose other people to have in your life. If your family insists on staying enmeshed in your nada's ( " nada " is the word we use for our non-mothering mothers) crazy world, you can't do much to force them to do otherwise. They have to see her for what she is themselves. Whether or not you should continue to try to reach out to them really depends on just how enmeshed they are. Is their behavior harmful to you? If it is, you may have to end contact with them. You may not have to go that far though. It is possible that you can talk to them and just agree that you're not going to discuss your mother when you talk to each other. At 10:23 AM 07/28/2009 kris wrote: >Hi everyone.
