Hi,

The MiniGastricBypass List is getting Kind of Big (~200 people)

So I have created the first of several sub lists MGB-Tech

This is a separate list that is focused on technical discussions related to

the Mini-Gastric Bypass.

The MiniGastricBypass List will remain " Wide Open " and the MGB-Tech will be

more focused.

I am also thinking of creating other specialized lists...

MGB-Pre Specially for pre op patients

MGB-Post For post ops

MGB-Ins For the insurance battle

Other suggestions or comments?

We have created a mailing list for people interested in the Mini-Gastric

Bypass.

It is hosted by " Onelist.com " in the Health Category.

Talk with lots of other pre and post op patients and friends.

Automatically keep up to date on the latest news.

I think the new sub lists are a great idea. I've been having trouble

going through all the messages and I know when I go back to work I will

not have time. A great deal of them are personal messages that could

be handled off the list. I particulary like the idea of the separate

ones for preop and postop, it would focus on those particular areas and

be available for those that want that type of information.

WONDERFUL IDEA!!!! I have thought about the same thing myself, but

didn't feel it was my place to suggest. I believe that at different

times during our lives, we need different types of support. This way we

could access the group(s) that satisfy our particular need at a

particular time.

Keep us posted as to your decision.

Congratulations on a job well done.....

Way to go Dr. R! The perfect solution to the " off topic " discussion.

Dr. R

I think the mini-list idea is a great one.

Also, thanks for the help on the melissa virus. I'm going to check it out.

Hoping to see you Tuesday

Dr. R,

Absolutely terrific idea! I am fairly new to the list but it is big and

takes me a lot of time to get through the post. I don't want to skip any

because I don't want to miss anything important and I have to say that I have

met the most wonderful people here!

I think having more sub list, ie., pre op, post op, insurance, etc. would be

great!

I agree splitting the lists up into smaller ones is a good idea. We can pick

and choose then and still keep up with what's important to us.
