My friend went through this and she is currently homeschooling. Now, I have never put my child in the public school system because of these horrorific stories, but my child cannot be homeschooled because he actually models typical peers. Get him out, find a therapuetic (ABA, FT, etc) school or private loving school or homeschool him until you find this placement. Even though those schools are expensive, place him unilaterally yourself and get a lawyer. Take pics and document. I am so sorry for you...this is why I fight for kids in public schools (and I used to be a public school teacher!).
