Guest guest
Debra, My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family, and especially Zak. Please stay strong. Sending big hugs for all, Baker - Mom to Jeff (20 yrs. CHARGEr), Steve (21 yrs. attending BYU), and others married with children of their own. Idaho, USA -- Things are bad Hi everyone, I need to ask for everyone's thoughts and prayers please.......... Zak is in the hospital and isn't doing very well. He is seriously sick. The MRSA bacteria is in his blood and now a yeast fungal has gotten into his blood as well. They are treating him with IV Vancamycin and Amphotarcian B (probably not spelt right). He has been in the hospital for a week and they expect at least 2 to 3 more weeks. The doctors aren't sure what the outcome will be, the blood cultures they are getting back aren't good and they told me today that they are doing all they can but they can't be sure it will be enough. So those of you that are religious, please pray for my baby and the others please keep good thoughts. I'm not ready to loose my baby. Thanks for listening, Debra

Guest guest
I add my prayers to all the others. I have hesitated to write because our history with 's illnesses is quite different from yours. However, please know that our child had a drug resistant staph infection of many, many months duration. It was a dreadful, dreadful time, but she pulled through; now, many years later, Andy and I still talk about the horrible months. In other words, know that others of us have been in similar situations. Keep sharing with the group. I will be thinking and praying for you, Zak, and the family. With great empathy - Martha
