-- Things are bad

Hi everyone,

I need to ask for everyone's thoughts and prayers please.......... Zak is

in

the hospital and isn't doing very well. He is seriously sick. The MRSA

bacteria is in his blood and now a yeast fungal has gotten into his blood as

well.

They are treating him with IV Vancamycin and Amphotarcian B (probably not

spelt right). He has been in the hospital for a week and they expect at

least 2

to 3 more weeks.

The doctors aren't sure what the outcome will be, the blood cultures they

are

getting back aren't good and they told me today that they are doing all they

can but they can't be sure it will be enough.

So those of you that are religious, please pray for my baby and the others

please keep good thoughts. I'm not ready to loose my baby.

Thanks for listening,

Debra

Debra-

I am so very sorry - I am praying for Zak's comfort and recovery. I am

praying for the doctors and caregivers to be guided to the very best

treatment course for Zak. I am praying for you and your other family members

that you may find peace of mind and that you will have all the comfort,

knowledge and support you need from loved ones and acquaintances to help

through this difficult time. I am praying for the best possible outcome for

Zak. You have all our best wishes and prayers -

with love,

I add my prayers to all the others. I have hesitated to write because our

history with 's illnesses is quite different from yours. However,

please know that our child had a drug resistant staph infection of many,

many months duration. It was a dreadful, dreadful time, but she pulled

through; now, many years later, Andy and I still talk about the horrible

months. In other words, know that others of us have been in similar

situations. Keep sharing with the group. I will be thinking and praying for

you, Zak, and the family. With great empathy - Martha

I am not sure if you are the right person but I have talked with you

before when my daughter was about a year old. Are you located in

Virginia? I am glad to have found you though not under these

circumstances. I will pray for a speedy recovery for Zack and

strength to pull you through. May God Bless you and Keep You.

Sincerely

Quitia (My kids mom)

Yes we are, in Virginia Beach. I'm not sure I remember you but please don't

take that wrong as lately I can't remember anything. Thank you for your

prayers.

We are praying for Zak and your family. We know that he is in the best hands

here on earth when he found you. I can only imagine the pain you must be

going through. May Zak have comfort and solace in knowing the love you have for

him as he fights through this awful illness. All our positive thoughts are

going your way. May the support you get from this group help you through this

difficult time. We care very much and want to be here for you.

Debra -

I hope this note finds Zak improving... as well as your spirits ... which I

know probably go hand in hand.

It's all so scary when they are so sick. My thoughts and prayers are with

you and your family.

Sending lots of germ free thoughts Zak's way!
