Guest guest
<<. I'm glad the lot of you didn't see that ever post want a fat loss tip and run the other way. I really think being overweight effects our whole life and everything in life effects our diet/weight loss as well.>> Yes, I remember how it was way back when! Very " straight " , very serious, very weightloss orientated with little room for humor, venting about DHubby/DKids and DDog (or Cat). I'm 700% agree that every aspect of our lives affects our weightloss or lack thereof. You can't separate a person into his or her various parts-body, mind, soul are what makes us us! Let a stressful time come along, a happy holiday occasion, a sad encounter, and it's going to affect us. It affects all people-not just people who are trying to lose wait. The important thing is that we've got a place to vent, wail, rant, cry ,hug, rejoice, motivate, encourage and love. I hope we never go back to the " old " WLB! <<I don't know, just a big thank you I guess. Somehow I feel kind of uhm...you know how you feel when they play that song on new years eve night? Ya, that way. I don't know why...you guys won't make me leave if I get to a size 10 right? You won't virtualy ignor me or call me terrible names? LOL>> Ang, sometimes I don't know if you're joking or not. Have we EVER made someone leave because they were thin? Have we ignored them or called them names? NEVER! We embraced every single man and woman (with the exception of that German lesbian model with the bazooms from here to Canarcy!!!) I think that every little LOL has a bit of not-so-LOL in it! Our body image and security sometimes lag behind the actual pounds that we are losing. It DOES take time for us to change the way we see ourselves. Never forget that you will always be welcome here, as will everyone else . And if you were joshing, then Ha Ha! Ho Ho! He He! For me,the measure of this group will ALWAYS be the way we embraced the young anorexic girls and the women who were bulimic. It took lots of guts on their part to finally admit that they had an eating disorder. And we cheared every ounce gained and mourned the weight that was lost. Doesn't that say something about this group? I love you all! Geula!!
