I did some googling and found that almonds are on the list.... I'd not seen that before.. I just checked the info that I've been compiling on our 'bad foods' list and I don't have almonds there... So I'm wondering if this has been recently added... since I set up that page on our site.??

I've seen the almonds on some lists, others not. I eat those deluxe canned nuts with the almonds in them, along with the Brazils, pecans, cashews, and macadamias. I love almonds. I don't know of much that ISN'T on a goitrogen list somewhere, but I'm not giving up my almonds at all. All these fruts and veggies on on those lists, and without most or some of these fruits and veggies (other than beans), I would be right back where I started from, with a Folic Acid anemia! It's gotten ridiculous. I certainly don't need THAT again.

Hi ,In the middle of a discussion re goitrogens and what kind of medical testing was done that compiled the list. Do you have the name of any papers? ThanksDawn
