Guest guest
Hello everyone, Yesterday, my son started exhibiting shallow breathing which accompanied a rash of small bumps that had covered his body. He had a neat little cluster of stuff on his face which looked a lot like rashes that he'd had when he was younger. He then started throwing up. Of course, we visited his pediatrician this morning, had him tested and he has Strep. The doctor has prescribed amoxicillin which we plan to start tonight. Today, I'm starting him on Sac Boullardi. His gastro is normally pretty well balanced so this is a preventative measure. What else should I do? For those with children with PANDAS or knowledge of it, what do you wish someone had told you? Quite frankly, I'm scared to death. Making matters more confusing is the fact that this outbreak (which looks like one he had in the past) coincided with us beginning to use Liver Life (LL). Is it possible that the LL shook smouldering Strep loose from his system or is this not the way it works? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm so scared of causing a regression. By the way, , apparently lost his appetite because of the Strep. It was not the switch from zinc piccolinate to zinc monomethionine. Thanks everyone,
