If you are in doubt, do what I do--I have Medicare. Get a new orthopedic surgeon. Mine, who was the very best has since died, leaving me unable to clone him and send him to you! Re: n Hello/ tonnage The age thing comes in because the knee replacements will only last a certain number of years and can be redone only once. My neighbor had her first knee replacement fail after the first year. She worried a lot with the second replacement that something would go wrong.
