Guest guest
Hello everyone, It is becoming increasingly apparent that my son's multi-vitamin (DRN)is not a good fit for him. For example, he responds well to zinc piccolinate (found that zinc monomethionine makes him stop eating), but the vitamin has zinc citrate. I'm trying to avoid having to test every single vitamin and mineral formulation (e.g., do we need Methyl B12, Hydroxy B12, etc). Can anyone offer any guidance? Is there a standard test or set of tests that will tell us what vitamins and minerals my son needs or at least gets us close? If not, should we dump the multi and buy a bunch of individuals vitamins and begin testing the different formulations? Also, is there a good book on vitamins and minerals that I can use to get a crash course on the subject? Thanks so much in advance for any help you can provide.
