Roasted Chickpeas

Yummmm!! I tried these and they are really good. If you like the

salty/munchy/crunchy snacks (i.e. nuts) you will like these for a lot fewer

points. For those of you that did not save the recipe, here it is:

Roasted Chickpeas

4 servings (about 1/3 cup)

2 points/serving

2 c. canned chickpeas, drained

1/4 t garlic powder

1/8 t ground red pepper

salt to taste

Preheat oven to 375. Spray cookie sheet (with sides to prevent chickpeas from

rolling off!) with butter spray or olive oil spray. Spread chickpeas on pan in

a single layer and sprinkle with the remaining ingredients. Bake 50-60 minutes

until golden and crispy, shaking the pan every 15 minutes to prevent scorching.

Allow to cool completely before storing.
