Guest guest Posted December 10, 2002 Report Share Posted December 10, 2002 K had a question regarding 5HTP capsules. We use 5HTP capsules from a company called Pure Encapsulation. There are no additives in this product so it is safe for kids on a strict hypoallergenic diet. The Pure Encapsulation product is more expensive than the ordinary product. We obtain it from Willner Chemists in NYC. They will fill mail orders. We break the capsules open and dissolve it in juice and then use a plastic syringe to get it in our son's mouth. Our three year old son has adapted to this pretty well. It's one of the better tasting medications/supplements he has to take. He kicks and fights when we give him medicine, but the more he kicks when we give the medicine, the happier we are!
