Guest guest
Sorry to be a posting hog, all, but did anyone have nadas who SCREAMED a lot - like nearly every day? So much of what I remember was the most violent, ear-splitting yelling from nada - and it didn't matter if we had friends around, or whether it was in public. Schoolfriends sometimes commented on it: " How come your mum yells all the time? " which was rather embarrassing. She screamed and swore, would get hoarse and continue trying to scream and it would come out as a rasp. Our house sounded like a madhouse, it really did; police used to pound on the door because neighbours would call them. 10am or 10pm, if something pissed her off, off she'd go, shreiking and screeching at the top of her lungs. It was terrifying to wake up to. Yelling sends my nerves to ribbons; I actually cannot yell myself without feeling sick and anxious, though my adult self looks back, and feels like yelling in nada's face, " SHUTUP, b*tch! " I have a well-developed love for peace and serenity, I can tell you. Take care, Louise
