PTOS 4.5 system--integate or not?

We have used PTOS for a number of years in our office and some time ago

Sammons/Preston bought out PTOS . Now, basically, Sammons/Preston has forced

all clinics to move to the newer version, 4.5

I understand that their are some advantages and disadvantages if you integrate

or 'combine' the 4.5 version with the older 'current' PTOS?

1) If you have integrated then what advantages or disadvatages have you seen

or not seen? Example: (Disadvatage) We were told that with the older PTOS they

would not be putting together new updates and that the help disk would be shut

down.

2) If you have not done anything with it, what advantages or disadvantages do

you anticipate? Example: (Diadvantage) Two accounts receivable reports each

month; one from the 'new' PTOS and one fro the old PTOS.

Any ideas, suggestions, feedback, etc would be helpful.
