Guest guest
- Isn't that awesome!!!! Aubrie too has made great strides in those sensory things since she was a baby. I think all we can do is keep providing the opportunities so that the kids can do it when they are ready. If we would have removed the opportunties because it distressed our little ones, they would never have made the progress. I was so delighted when Aubrie enjoyed the beach in Maimi. A few years before, we had to sit in the snack area while DJ and played at the beach in Hilton Head. That was so discouraging! Now she's a beach bum! Here's to the sand box! We've also got to clean ours and change the sand after cats have gotten into it. Yuck! And Aubrie was loving it every day. The heat has kept her from it, but once it's nicer weather I'll have to get it cleaned out for her. Michele W Aubrie's mom 7 yrs
Guest guest
, What a cute story about ! It takes our kids a while to overcome their aversions, but it sounds like is starting to enjoy the sand, grass, etc. We'll have to try in her sandbox again, too. We bought it last summer, and she was never too crazy about it then. She'd sit in it, but that was about it--no movement, playing, etc. And she'd make a terrible face if you poured the sand on her legs and arms! But this summer, she's walking in the grass barefoot, which she hated last year, so maybe she'd enjoy the sand now, too. Enjoy your play in the sandbox! , mom to (3 1/2) __________________________________________________
