Guest guest
Hi y'all - I haven't posted in over a month. The holiday season was really hectic for me. Promotion, vacation, kids started basketball, I'm starting back to school, husband is retiring,..... the list goes on. I haven't attended weight watcher's meetings either, but will start back tonight. Unfortunately, I've hit a major plateau. I've been teetering around 190/191 since mid December. I can't go to kick boxing classes anymore, because they only offer classes on Tues/Thurs/Sat. I have school on Thurs and the kids havee b-ball games on Sat mornings. I don't want to pay 45 bucks a month, and only go 1 day a week. So.... I've been trying to do it at home, along with Yoga. You know how that goes. My good intentions are usually overcome by dinner plans, kids homework, husbands needs, etc... I'll do better. Anyway, I hope I didn't miss too much. I know you're all doing great. I'm still pushing to make my V-day goal. Husband and I are going on a retirement cruise in March, and I want to feel good in my swimsuit. ps - he's not really retiring for good (he's only 38), just retiring from the military). Glad to be back!! (VA) 211/190/

Guest guest
Welcome back, . I have a suggestion on the gym thing. Maybe you could just pay by the day instead of having a membership. Here if you only go for a day that is $5 and you can stay all day if you want. If you went once a month that's $5 and once a week is only $20 a month if the prices are comparable there. You might want to check into it. > Hi y'all - I haven't posted in over a month. The holiday season was > really hectic for me. Guest guest
- I tried that, but the owner of the Karate gym won't go for it. His membership is so high right now, that he's not interested. I might need to start looking for a gym that will let me pay by the day. Good kick boxing classes are hard to find though, and that's really what I want to do. > Welcome back, . I have a suggestion on the gym thing. Guest guest
Hi Char, Even as post-op, I am still a little scared that this will be just another of my many failures dealing with my weight. I am scared that I either won't lose enough, that I will regain all the weight (or a huge chunk of it), or both. But at the same time, I can't give into this fear. I NEED to make this work for me... Sending smiles, Caroline > Hello, I'm back. I was not getting my e-mails for a while. I was very > overwelmed by the whole WLS. I went to my first appointment. Guest guest
This surgery is a tool-NOT a quick fix-just keep that in mind. You will lose as long as you abide by your doctors rules and listen. It is a slow process for me which my doc says I am on track and do not worry. Everyone loses at a different rate. Just do not get disgusted! We all are here to help each other and I am sure you will ahve a local support group as well. USE your resources! -- In Gastric_Bypass_Family , " vcjaguar " <mcedge@u...> wrote: > Hello, I'm back.
