Hi Abi My son is six months also actually he is almost seven now. He

hates baby food, no matter what I try he will not eat it. he loves

crackers, cereal ( like cheerios) he had a blast with a piece of pizza

crust last night.

But NO baby food, he clamps his mouth closed and nothing I can do

changes that.

Gracie is the same way. We tried baby foods a couple of times and she

refused. So I figured she just wasn't ready. However, when I tried one day

to give her table food, she gobbled it up ! ! She is almost 8 mo and eats

almost anything that I am. Of course there are some things that she can't

have and I haven't given her any meat products yet. She too LOVES pizza

crust ! !

My name is Amy I'm a sahm to three boys. I breastfeed my oldest

two for one year each and am currently exclusive nursing my three month

old. I live in Va. My favorite hobby is collecting Anne Gedde's I am a

freak about that stuff. And I am a major talker. I am a internet

200 e-mails a day so what will a little more hurt!

Now that I found you all I have some questions.

1.I always supplemented my two older with formula, and am trying to pump

for this one. I bought the avent bottle system and have tried using my

medela hand pump. I have about 1oz and half in one day. How is the

world do you do this?

2. Also is it okay to layer milk in the freezer?

3. I have been adding to my frozen baggie and hope it's okay. Will my

milk build up?

4. And does anyone else's baby spit up constantly? is almost 4

months and is over 16 pounds so I know he's gaining but he spits up so

much it's unreal. You'd think I was a first time mom I just forgot

everything!

I don't know how convenient it will be for you but I found that it was

easier to pump if I put my son on one breast and pumped on the other.

That way your baby makes the let down happen. Then you can build-up

your supply and use as needed.

Hello--

My name is Joy and I am the mother of Ivy, who is 3 and Elly who is 2

months. I bf Ivy for 13 months and I plan to do the same with Elly. I had

every problem you can think of when starting out with Ivy--ie ceacking,

blistering, bleeding--the works--but I perservered and made it through. I

have hread that fair skinned people have more problem with this sort of

thing. Anyway--I figured that with the second baby I was home free--I had

already mastered positioning and latch on--wrong. This baby had also never

nursed before so I had to start over. Luckily, the problems with pain and

the like only lasted a bit over a week--nightmareish as that was. She is

now nursing fine---except---she will only nurse from one side at a

time--she won't empty both sides at one nursing. Thus--she is hungary again

shortly after feeding her. I have recently started taking a yoga class that

has 2 hours of childcare provided and would love to be able to really relax

and not worry that she was gonna be hungary at any second. She is only 2

months so I may have to wait till after she is eating solids (planning to

start that about 6 months old or so--but continue bf too). If anyone has

any ideas about how to get her to nurse from both sides at one

sitting--please let me know. Thanks --Joy in Asheville NC

Welcome to the list. A really good book about breastfeeding is called

Bestfeeding. I don't know the author but its a yellow book. Congratulations on

your pregnancy, I hope it goes smooth for you. Any questions you come up with,

Great pages. It looks like you've put a lot of work into them. Cade is so

cute. My son is named Zaid. You seem like a very mature teenager. You are a

great example to teens. I attached a pic of Zaid. Its when he fell in the

driveway so that's why he's roughed up.
