Guest guest
a, You are so nice. I think I might have to keep you close to me. I did have a very specific goal in the beginning of the whole thing. It was, I wanted to be in a size 16 or 18, I told (the shrink) I would be very happy if I was still in plus size clothes but I wanted to be in the smallest ones at Lane . but I was hopeing a 16. Well, I have without even trying passed that. I totally missed wearing the 16's. I went from an 18 to a 14. I thought I was in those 18's for a while but didn't think I could go down a size just yet. WOW!!! was I shocked. It was my Mom who got me to try on the 14's,( that's what she is). This whole thing has been very overwhelming for myself also. I'm learning so much about myself, With my own shrink. It's been a wonderful thing for me, and my family. It's funny how much people enjoy looking at my book. I had no idea that would happen. I did it so my children can see what I did and I could go back and see how far I've come also. Now they just like to look at Mommy's boo-boo. My oldest asks me why I have the big boo-boo on my belly. I tell her Mommy's tummy didn't work right and I had to get it fixed. Anyway, I could not tell you were nurvous at the meeting. You should put that surgery time line you made in a book form. People come up to me and ask if they can look at my book, I'm sure they would want to see your progress too. I think the most inportant part of it is the writing, I hope people read that part. You look great!! keep up the good work. Pam On Mon, 09 Oct 2000 20:23:39 -0000 rheaumepaula@... writes: > Thanks for thoughts on last week's meeting. Guest guest
Hey a-I just want to say again that you did an awesome job at last week's NWH meeting and you look great! I've been in Woodstock, VT looking at the foliage. It was beautiful. Very cold, though. It even snowed on the way home today. Anyway, I am afraid I will NEVER like the way my body looks. I wonder if too much damage has been done to ever " get it back " . I've lost about 60 lbs and would like to lose another 60. I work out, but some body parts just don't firm up (my boobs and arms). I really am so sick of hating my body though. It makes me so sad. It's really taken a lot of abuse over the years and still keeps ticking! LOL! I think I'll have to start seeing someone to work on the body image stuff. That and start my plastic surgery fund! Thanks for speaking at the meeting!
