Guest guest
, If your mom is willing to go to court with you why go through the hassle? You might want to start pumping and get some milk stored just because it is good to have. Then if you don't feel confident about him taking a bottle then your mom could bring him. My kids didn't really like taking a bottle from me but would from others. ( If I left the house) If you get some milk pumped than you could have hubby give him a bottle at one of his really hungry feeds. That way he will take the bottle more readily and you could pump for that feed. Its all so complicated, the pumping and storing process. I've never been very good at it. It sounds like your mom is a great help. I wish mine lived closer. Good luck to you. Wendi pump questions Gil and I are going to court over a contract dispute on April 12th. Guest guest
: If its only going to be one day I wouldn't bother with a bottle. I think your mom could feed him with a spoon or a dropper. I would get a manual pump if you decide to pump. I have an electric one so don't know which to recommend. I think its success lies in that it brings on a let down almost as quickly as the baby would, which is vital to get a decent amount. I would highly recommend it. Guest guest
It is weird to have all those different currencies. I remember carryng a calculater to convert the dollar to other monies. After a while you can do it in your head. I collected all kinds of money while I ws there, & would love to see a euro. I have $$ from yugoslavia when it was just yugoslavia, & when it split I managed to get som from croatia. I also collect Monopoly games & the cheapest is from turkey, 65 cents & the most expensive from UK. It's the EEC version with the country pieces mad of brass. That was a whoppig $ 165. Guest guest
Hannah, I haven't seen a Euro here in Portugal yet either, although all the cash registers have the escudos price and the euro price together (what a confusion at first!) and so do our utility bills. From what I've heard, we can't even get them here for the time being. So much for simplification!! I'm going to be heading back to the US next month -- this month! Wow, March went fast! -- and maybe while I'm leaving the US, I could try to find a large bank on the east coast that carries some... lol wouldn't that be a hoot to pay my bills with Euros and ask for change?! > >I haven't even seen a euro yet! Guest guest
Don't you find it interesting that these cheapie pumps are made by BOTTLE COMPANIES?? They are hoping that your pump will not work sufficiently and you will use more bottles! All of those pumps are a scam as far as I am concerned. The Avent Isis is the only one that I have heard of that works well made by a bottle company.

I had only ever had my milk let down once when using other pumps with my first two, but the Avent Isis causes a let down every time w/o fail for me.
