Oh, heather... I hope after your long wait, a sniffly nose and fever

doesn't put you off. But

These folks do know what they're doing. And if it comes to it, I'd

rather you'd be put off than have direr alternatives. There are

reasons, after all, for waiting if you're not in the best shape for

surgery.

But we're gonna think those germs away! Right?

I hope you're feeling better... A fever indicates infection. A big no-no

for us. I had outpatient surgery 7 yrs ago and I was asked that morning if

I had a runny nose! I said no which I didn't have a runny nose anyway. If

i did have the runny nose, surgery would have been delayed...

Hope it goes well for you....

Hi ,

I am with Topper. I feel that you need to do the 50 dosage for 4 to

6 weeks before you raise up to the 75 dosage. Raising too quickly

will give you the heat episodes and the racing heart.

This is not to say that you won't be taking a 75 or higher dosage

eventually...Most of us just have to go up very slowly for our

bodies to adjust to attually having Thyroid hormones to live with.

At the end of the 4 weeks working with a total of 50 a day, might I

suggest that your next step up would be to take 35 in the morning

and then 25 in the afternoon. Do this for another 4 weeks then

switch up to the 35/35 dosing.

Take it slow...your body has some healing to do and it won't happen

overnight.

You actually gave me an idea. Instead of taking one pill from one

bottle one day and one from the other the other day. I could cut the

old pill in half and the new pill in half for a week and take half of

each. Therefore, the varience will only be up to 10mcgs. The other

method would be a problem for me because on the day that I took the

new pill it caused me problems. Maybe I can ask the doc for 200 mcgs

and then cut them in half each day. That would work for 2 months at a

time.

Will keep you posted.

Hi ,

My symptoms last night were about 1/2 as bad as the night before.

Instead of taking 1/2 a dose like I did yesterday morning, this

morning I took 3/4 of a dose. I will see how I do tonite. Thanks for

the help.

Hopefully your body will settle down, too.. Remember, it was two years of futzing with dosage and timing before my body could take the dose without having fits..... That's what can happen when the docs wait to long to treat you! arrrgghhhhh

You'll make it....

Hi ,

I for one would like to have a chance to read this article, when you

get a chance to post it.

Yep, that's the one. I had forgotten that it was a download and did go

looking for it again. I have it downloaded to my computer already.
