That's so cool on the baking thing!!! I hope it works out for you. I

had a dream the other night that everything sweetened was being made

with Splenda from ice cream to chocolate bars...and it was all fat-free

and high in protein. LOL...have I been obsessing? I'm going to try to

make a cheesecake with Splenda ( & low-fat cream cheese) and if it turns

out well I'm going to make one for Jody's office Thanksgiving party as

all the women he works with are " diet-conscious " as Jody says!

Good luck to ya!

Dawn...you have achieved SO MUCH dear!!! You've lost a ton of weight---there's

a major achievement---but even more, you've given of yourself endlessly

to this group...and although it may not show up on a resume---being a loving,

supportive friend is one of the greatest achievments in life.

I can understand the Blonde moments I ahve them myself. You said that

you are always PMS'ing!!

Well I am sitting here drinking some wine that I have had in the fridge

since new years. I am also not a big drinker but being brought up

Italian somethings just stay with you. I have had wine since surgery

and one glass knocks me on my butt.

OH THAT!!! I forgot what the hell I said! LOL!

Speaking of wine...maybe we like it so much from WHINing? lol!

I'm ready to crack open a new bottle..one WITHOUT the cork floating inside!

I'm sick of straining it thru a coffee filter before I pour! Last nights

second glass was a bit tipsy doing that I'll tell ya!

Thanks for the great words Dawn. It feels great to have my self

confidence back. Even though I know I lost weight on my own but I know

that if it was not for the surgery it would have came right back .

Dawn,

I'm sorry to hear you are going through such a rough time. It will be a

big change. I think Brett is lucky to have you. while you will never

replace his mom, I know you have a good heart and will be there for

him. It's ok to have a day now and then where you aren't focused. It

will happen. Just as long as one doesn't turn into two and then 3.....

That is why it is important to work on habits and lifestyle. Things you

can do for a lifetime, no matter what curves life has thrown you. Just

do what you can. We will be here for you anytime you need to vent.

Take care,

Gena
