Guest guest
My son does not sweat during the day and if he does it is very rare. However, he sweats while he sleeps at night almost every night. Why is this? This concerns me as sweating is a very important piece to detoxification. Does anyone have thoughts and/or suggestions for me? Thanks, Dayna
Guest guest
Do you know his aluminum levels...aluminum can mess w/ the sweat glands...my son does not sweat at all. and his DAN! doc said it was related to aluminum toxicity.Just one idea to consider,LoriTo: mb12 valtrex Sent: Sun, May 23, 2010 10:02:53 AMSubject: My son doesn't sweat ... why? Guest guest
I don't have an answer for you, but I can tell you that my daughter doesn't sweat hardly ever!!! She might sweat if it is a really, really humid day and we are in the car without AC......Because she doesn't sweat, she does become lethargic when it is really hot....she has really scared me a couple of times. Nobody seems to have an answer for me....this is the first time i have heard a parent voice a similar issue. I am looking forward to the responses. My son doesn't sweat ... why? Guest guest
That's interesting. My son only sweats when he sleeps, even he takes a nap , his head will start sweating. I have checked his thyroid and it was functioning properly , he does have a little elevated aluminum levels. I have heard that people with low thyroid function do not sweat as much as others.is that something you have checked for?->> My son does not sweat during the day and if he does it is very rare. Guest guest
wow. my feet rarely sweat. it really takes a lot to get them to. i can tell you, it's pretty uncomfortable because the heat builds up and has no way to escape. it can be maddening at times-especially in the summer months (and during pregnancy). i'm not surprised to hear your daughter gets lethargic. i wonder if you started looking around for articles on ppl who sweat TOO much, if you might stumble upon something to help the opposite problem? I imagine if you could find a way to help her along, you'd probably see an enormous differences in her symptoms as our skin is our largest pathway. I'd be very interested to know what you learn so please keep us posted. good luck! To: mb12 valtrex Cc: dbklein34@...Sent: Wed, June 2, 2010 3:16:27 PMSubject: Re: My son doesn't sweat ... why? My son did not sweat until we did mild chelation (metal free spray) when he was around 4-5 years old. Now, he is indoors playing while the AC on and he looks like he just came out of the shower, and when we go outside his clothes are soaked!, he looks like he is melting. I was told by his DAN that that is common with children with ASD and a heavy metal load. Sweat is a form of detox, the body's own way of getting rid of toxins and other harmful stuff. ---- dbklein34@... wrote: > I don't have an answer for you, but I can tell you that my daughter > doesn't sweat hardly ever!!! Guest guest
Our DAN said that my son's night sweats would stop when I start using Epsom Salt Baths (2 cups for 20 minutes) and it worked! > > My son does not sweat during the day and if he does it is very rare.
