Guest guest
Just wanted to say that I agree that the parents are what makes it successful. It's the little things: learning how to decrease die-off; understanding regressions; the importance of learning how each thing works, so it can be managed; making the correct judgment call; and the patience to wait for the changes. It's so much work, and I applaud everyone! Love and prayers, Heidi N "5.Again, I've seen big name docs...do you want to know what made the doc successful with my kid....... ..ME If I went in to the appt. and I could keep up with the doc, and not only that but add an opinion of the topic, they were more inclined to do more with my child. They felt confident that I would be able to handle the treatment at home and they were more inclined to do harder protocols. SO GET EDUCATED! If you want to see the best-of-the-best, because they want to work with smart, educated (on autism) parents." Rose
