Guest guest
Dear Joanna, Welcome to our group, although I am sorry you had to find it. I have had 3 EP's and 2 miscarriages and have had methotrexate for 2 of the ep's. I know how hard the waiting is and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers until you have this resolved. I know you will findcomfort and support here. Again, I'm sorry you are going through this.
Guest guest
Joanna, I had my ep last August. I was treated w/metho. I had to have two sets of shots alos. It did work after the second set of shots. I am 32. Will be 33 next month. My dh is 39. We don;t have any kids yet. We have been ttc 2/.5 years and that was my first pg. I am sure you will find this group very informative. There are some in this group who have had more than one ep. And quite a few of us w/have had metho. It really stinks to have this happen when its your birthday. Last year I was so excited to be pg right before my birthday. That didn't last long. Guest guest
Joanna, I wanted to welcome you to the group and say how sorry I am that you had the need to find us. I know this is a group that we all wish we hadn't had the need for. Although I have only been through the nightmare of one ep (a rupture that resulted in the loss of my left tube) and do not have any experience w/ the metho. there are a lot of wonderful ladies who will be able to give you some guidance. Best of Luck with your treatment and let us know how you are doing. Kendall jo4razorbacks@... wrote: > Forgive me if I don't know all the correct lingo and abbreviations. Guest guest
I know how devastated you feel, but it was good that you found this site. In the 15 days since I had been diagnosed and treated for ep (metho shot) I have taken great comfort in the support these ladies show everyone, and the unflagging optimism. If you read the posts you will discover that quite a few are pg, so there is hope. As I said, I had metho shot a little over 2w ago. A week after the shot, my hcg levels were substantially higher than on the day of the shot. But two days later the levels were lower. I had blood again drawn today, but I won't know until tomorrow whether the levels are falling still. I know how excruciating the wait is... You are probably also experiencing lots of pains and twinges in the side, and I know how worrisome those are. Listen to your body, but don't panic unnecessarily. My worst pains were last Tue, two weeks after the shot. Drop me a line (lerman@...) if you want to compare notes. Here is to fast recovery! a

Guest guest
I wanted to say welcome as well although I have been a member of this group a short. My EP was July 20th and I didn't have meth I had lap for a ruptured tube. But whatever the procedure it's the experience that seems to create the bond here. It's impossible for anyone who has not been through this to understand the complicated process of healing both mind and body. I have found a wealth of information and this has a become a source of much strength and support for me and if you allow it can be for you as well.
