Guest guest
Don.... Hey buddy... hope you on your way to feeling better.. get them positive thoughts flowing.. get busy to keep you mind of negative thoughts.. and make sure you are getting your PROTEIN in... I learned at the group that if you are feeling sluggish and sleepy all the time.. that maybe you did not get enough protein in... Also the other part is that you just went thru major surgery.. so you are going to feel a little pooped for a bit.. but all that is going to pass my buddy... you are well on your way to a great new healthy life.. Just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you .... also ..I should have your pic's uploaded to nite.. I will e-mail when complete ok... *hugs to you and Patti.. hope you both had an awesome weekend..:) *hugs*Wickedbob akaPAMopen RNY 6/26/00235/182/12553 pounds gone forever!Lahey Clinic Dr. Brams Re: Don Hey Dawn, Thanks for your post. I just have to work out a couple of things and I'll be all right. I think I have a slight so all I want to do is sleep which is contributing to my malaise. You'll hear from me soon.ThanksDon
Guest guest
Pam Thanks for the words of encouragement. The reason you haven't heard form me in a while is because I have just been lurking for a bit. The truth is I've been depressed for a number of reason that I won't fo into hear. I'm seeing my surgeon tomorrow and, if he'll listen, I'm going to tell him exactly how I feel including asking him for an antidepressant. I just have that feeling of of being useless that I just can't seem to shake. Also I haven't been able to eat a lot because everything is making me nauseous. I did have some soup today and that settled ok so maybe I just have to experiment around. Thanks for everything and congrats on your loss. Guest guest
Don-Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling great. Good for you for going to see your doctor to talk about meds. I hope things get better soon. Take good care of yourself in the meantime. I suggest long, hot baths and lots of naps! Steph

Guest guest
Hey Don-I'm feeling good! I just joined the Y about 2 weeks ago and have been doing Nautilus, the treadmill and the bike. I'm not yet at the point where exercising is giving me more energy. It just makes me tired. Other than that, I can't complain. I'm not looking forward to setting the clocks back next month. I hate when it gets dark early. I just want to sit on my couch and hibernate. I'm going to try to attend next month's LMH meeting so I can meet some of you guys in person. Take care!
