Guest guest
Thanks for everyone's suggestions. I finally figured it out. It was lid lag. Debbie Re: term help I couldn't find anything that sounds like that, but for some reason wonder if he could be talking about a goiter since this relates to hyperthyroidism and the neck. Guest guest
Can anyone tell my why lid lag would be mentioned under the neck section. Is it a symptom of hyperthyroidism? n Career Step Student --- Debbie Boyd wrote: > Thanks for everyone's suggestions. I finally > figured it out. Guest guest
At first I wondered the same thing.. why would lid lag be listed under the neck exam... but then I realized the doc was mentioning lid lag in relation to the thyroid. So to answer your question, yes, it's a symptom and that's why it's in the neck exam. Hope this helps Jan jantranscribes@... " Typing is my life. " " Whoever signs the paycheck makes the rules. Guest guest
Thanks for the answer. I find that it doesnt do a lot of good to just enter terms in lil red without some kind of explanation for them, as when I go to use them again I would have no idea what they were for. This board is an invaluable learning tool for students. I hope this all makes me a better MT in the long run. n Career Step Student --- Jantranscribes wrote: > At first I wondered the same thing.. why would lid > lag be listed under the neck exam... but then I > realized the doc was mentioning lid lag in relation > to the thyroid.
