I am sure you will get a million replies to this post! I want to give you a

list of some of the things our CHARGE adults like to do in their leisure time

and some have become vocational tasks for sales:

hook rug kits

weaving kits: belts, chairs, rugs

jewelry kits: bracelets, necklaces

mosaic kits: trivets, small table tops, the kind you can draw on so you can make

a bigger one with original art for hanging

paint by number (for those who can see the numbers or efficiently use a

magnifier)

stained glass kits (not really glass) for window hanging

original art design cards and envelopes

painting ceramic pots and then planting flowers in them

making bird houses

packaging sachet and/or potpourri

wreaths made from already prepared " rings " that they add things to (could be

seasonal)

You get the idea! We have some of our kids do these within a " workshop " setting

and then they can sell them.

Good luck. I am sure others will comment re: the Manual (the name is n

Norbury) and other ideas for you and your client.

Hi,

Pam was quicker than me. I was still reading my emails. Anyway I am

n Norbury and I work for the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation. We do have

a manual that many have found helpful in managing CHARGE. You can read

a description of it on our web site and there is an order form also if

you decide to order it. If you have any questions about the materials we

have, please email me at marion@... or call the number below.

Hi

Since you don't need a referral to keep an insurance company happy, you can very

likely make your own appointment with a pain management physician.

I found my pain management clinic on my own. I phoned them up and made an

appointment. That's all there was to it.

If you don't have insurance, you don't need a " referral " to a pain

management clinic! Referrals are only an insurance hurdle to get

over. If you're paying cash, you can go to whoever you want to go.

So just call up the clinic you are interested in and ask for an

appointment, and tell them you're paying cash. That's all!
