Hi. My name is Becky and I'm not sure if I've got this whole list thing

figured out, but I'm gonna try.

I have 3 kids and one on the way(due June 23). My oldest is 7. She is

my step-daughter and I have her for the school year. My son is will be

5 next week. I breastfed him for 2 1/2 years and had a wonderful

experience once I figured out what I was doing. I got preg. with my

daughter(now 3) when my son was 15 mos. old. I nursed him through the

preg. with no problems and tandem nursed for 6 months. I weaned my son

at that time because I was ready for him to wean and he would have

nursed forever:) Three months later (at 9 mos) my daughter went on a

severe nursing strike. Between starting back to work, and some other

personal problems, I allowed her to wean without trying to hard to keep

nursing. I realized later that she was a " lazy nurser " because my son

had always taken care of getting the letdown and had kept my supply up.

When I weaned him, she didn't want to work for the milk.

I am really looking forward to nursing this child, hopefully long term.

I probably won't have to return to work after he's born, and I'm very

thankful for that.

Anyway, that's the brief history. Thanks for the ear.

Becky

Hello,

Just had a nose around the site, the group is only a few hours old and I am

number 17! I can`t resist joining in...

I`m Barbara, mum to Eleanor and who will be 9 & 6 respectively in

May (3 yrs & 8 days apart).

On the NCT front I`m a founder member of Romsey & District in Hampshire -

about 80 members - we split from Southampton 5 yrs ago. I've done several

branch jobs and am now a student ANT, level 1, hoping to teach 1st class at

Christmas (I can`t believe it!)

I`m also keen on Ceroc - modern jive dancing. and I go twice a week if

we possibly can. Current fave dance tune is Santana/Smooth. We`re taking

part in a 24 hr sponsored Ceroc marathon in Salisbury in September.

What I really like is being able to see who`s on the list - thanks BM for

that!!

>The list consists of ''the usual suspects'', doesn't it??

Lesley,

what I like about it is the fact that I'm not the only one

playing puters in the middle of the night :-)))))
