The gorge was beautiful. My friend and I walked all the way down to the bottom and back up and I was barely winded. Last year (at 60+ lbs heavier), I was bright red and thought my heart was going to beat right out of my chest. I know I have to count my blessings! Thanks for your reply! I should have clarified that I also have spastic colon and diverticulosis so corn is just a hard food for me to digest. Maybe some other post-ops can comment on their corn experiences. Anyone who has not been to the Quechee/Woodstock are should check it out, especially with the foliage. It's really easy to get to. Actually, wanted me to talk about how I still love to eat. I've been struggling with that, and didn't want to come off as negative at the meeting. However, in the past few weeks, I've really started to feel better about myself. Now, I look forward to telling people that you can still love food AND have success with this surgery. I think it's important for pre-ops to here. Once the weight stops coming off is when the real battle begins. You will do very well speaking. You can wave to me if you get a little nervous and I'll wave back. Don't forget to bring pictures and or a piece of pre-op clothing.
