-- Re: - re 's ramblings

PCOS is polycystic ovarian syndrome...it's basically that because i

have this (which I just found out) I shouldn't eat carbs alone and i

need to get refined sugar out and the carbs i choose need to be whole

grain.

I'm glad I could be inspiring to some...because sometimes i need your

guy's inspiration!

the best possible way [or should that be 'weigh'?!?!?!?!?!?!] of

course.

survive my week without being able to participate in WLB. This sort

of positive message is just so inspirational.

> Of course we are the ones who have to make the commitment and

effort on our own personal weight loss/lifestyle change journey but I

agree 500% when you say how good it is to have the help and support

of family, friends and WLB.

important. <<<<

> I must plead ignorance - I have never heard of the PCOS diet. What

does it stand for? How does it work? What shines through loud and

clear though is that you have now made a commitment to a regime that

suits YOU. That is so important because everyone responds to

different stimuli and what is right for one person won't be right for

another.

> Isn't that a great breakthrough. We so often neglect ourselves due

to some sort of feeling of guilt. I wish that I could have worked

out 40 years ago that it is more logical to feel guilt about

neglecting myself. Taking time for ourselves is NOT selfish. By

looking after our own needs we gain personally but, because we feel

better and healthier, we are also better able to devote care and

attention on our loved ones.

project. I said no and choose me. And I have no regrets. For this

to work I have to be committed.<<<<

> I think we should make that last sentence our WLB " Thought for the

week " . Well said .
