I used to exercise for 50 minutes and feel great when I was done. Now, I

still do it for about that much time. I do stop every 15 min and catch my

breath, and grab some water. I did exercise fairly strenuously that

morning.

I guess I should've asked the Dr. about it, but my guess would be he

wouldn't had said it mattered. I didn't think about it til I was on the way

to the lab, that maybe that could affect it. My test was done about 1 to 1

1/2 hours after exercising.

  • 4 weeks later...

DHEA is one part of what is put out by the adrenals.. it's a precursor to the sex hormones... it's not what's involved with the adrenal fatigue issues resulting from under/un-treated thyroid and stress....

A lot of folks use different adrenal hormones under different brand names.. I can't really speak for any of them, since I've not tried any. My choice was to use a whole glandular to allow my body to choose what it needs... again.. it's very much a personal choice.

Many docs won't even test for adrenal fatigue let alone prescribe for it.... So let others comment that have had first had experience with working with doctors as it relates to adrenal testing and supplementation.

Hi all,I plan to see the endo again on 1/13/05. I want to discuss adrenal support with him. I would like everyone's opinion as to what to ask for (the best) and how much to ask for. I have tried DHEA and as little as 12.5mgs makes me agressive and angry. I makes me want to break things and put my fist through the wall. Very much unlike me.Thanks,
