I wish I had something useful in terms of what to do but I don't. I'm sorry to hear about the cancer and I'll keep your family in my thoughts.

Hi friends,I am hoping to get wisdom from my autism friends! In Oct 08 both my mom and dad were dx'd with cancer in the same week. She with colon, and he with throat. They both came thru fine.. he thru surgery, he thru radiation. He has also had radiation for prostate cancer, and has had skin cancer. Well, 2 weeiks ago he was dx'd with stage 3 rectal cancer.. the tumor has gone into the lymph nodes (T3N1) is what the doctor said. Unfortunately when I was with his I was a complete mess, and I am once again finding myself at a loss over this. He went for a stress test today to see if his heart can handle the surgery (after 12 weeks of chemo) and we find that he has an enlarged heart.. perhaps from years and years of high blood pressure (he is 82). Not sure what the course of action will be at this point.. the heart thing is a huge setback. My thought is

his healthcare hasn't been the best since his doc hasn't made him get colonoscopies...If ANYONE can email me off list with ANYTHING we can do homeopathically to jump start ANYTHING, I would be so very grateful! I plan to get him some inulin, but what else can we do?Thanks!!
