OK, now I don't feel quite so dumb. :) I didn't know they ever used the radial

artery in a CABG.

Sigh. When will I know as much as you? :)

Thanks again,

Pattie

" Never had just RA before "

I have a question that comes to mind when Pattie said she had never had

" just RA " before. I was told that if there is more than one meaning for an

acronym (i.e., RA) to leave it RA, unless told otherwise. What I mean is,

because there are so many things that RA could mean, is it more " accurate "

to leave RA?

Just a wanna-know question, LOL! : ) Curious on input...

Thanks,

Lori, It is never more " accurate " to leave an acronym. However, if you do not

know and cannot confirm what the acronym stands for, then it is more correct to

leave the acronym than it would be to make a stab in the dark and guess at what

it could be from a selection of several. Does that answer your question?
