Guest guest
My ASD son, almost 4, has had a head cold for weeks. He can't shake it. His ped said it was viral, and wasn't concerned at all. We are starting to suspect it might be a sinus infection. During the past week his sleep habits have completely fallen to pot. Is this the head cold? He'll sleep from about 8:30 pm - about midnight or 1 am, and then be up for hours, smacking himself in the head, banging his head on the floor, running around the house, giggling, biting, crying, etc... He won't fall back asleep until 4 or 5 am. We are at a loss as to what to do. We already do epsom salt baths before bed, melatonin, aloe juice and/or activated charcoal as needed. At first I thought it may be phenols, so I removed foods high in phenols from his diet. But the behaviors didn't go away. Yeast? We had been doing s. boulardii, but stopped, since his poops were looking normal, finally. He is on a probiotic. He's GFCFSF, and on the following supplements: mB12 shots every other day multivitamin (no B's) B-Complex transdermal cream D3 DMG Zyme Prime AFP Peptizide CLO L-Taurine Folinic Acid probiotics zinc Acetal L-Carnitine (just started this week - not quite at full dosage yet) CO-Q10 Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? Thanks so much, Extremely Exhausted
