I agree! I would hate taking the time to make a bottle, heat it up, wait for

it to cool if too hot. I mean all we have to do it whip out a tit and dinner

is served!! Not only is it much healthier, but much easier. Also I have

heared people say that bottles are easier for babies to get milk outta.

Well, I will admit, I have given my daughter a couple bottles and she does

horrible with them. First she can't seem to suck on them right, can't get

the nipple to work and when she finally has she has a heck of a time

sucking. Also, She prefers the taste of breastmilk. If she has formula in a

bottle she will literally gag herself!!

I also know a girl who was pumping and putting all the milk in a bottle,

Never even tried breastfeeding but at least she had the right idea with the

milk. Well, her son would always open his mouth way to wide for the bottle.

I would encourage her to breastfeed him b/c he looked like he had the mouth

for a great latch on. When she finally tried he was about 3-4 months old. He

took to the breast right away and loved it!! But she still didn't want to

breastfeed. He would turn his head towards her breasts and everything. It

was so sad for me to watch.

Oh well, I encourged her and since it wasn't MY baby that is about all I

could do.

The main reason I hear is that it ties women down too much. That they won't

be able to go and do the things they want to. If you want to just go live

your life than why have kids? Kids tie you down whether you nurse or not.

I would think that all that bottle preparation would tie me down. That is a

really sad story about that baby. I can't even stand my babies to cry for

short periods let alone for 3 hours. AAHHHH! Poor Baby

Is esgic made from ergotamine? I have had migraines since I was about 4 yo,

probably before but I couldn't tell anyone.

Re: Alergic to Breastmilk :( (the things people are led

Just wanted to add me to the migrane group. I have gotten them sence I was

about 14. I do think it has something to do with my cycles. During pregnancy

they pretty much left during the first and third trimester, during the

secound trimester I had them every week. Now that I had the baby they are

back. I was taking Esgic plus tablets before and during pregnancy but can't

now because Skyler hates the caffine thats in them. So if tylanol doesn't

work them I am out of luck.
