Guest guest
Hi everyone, I have been a member for a while and thought it was time to introduce myself.. My name is . My 6 yr old daughter with ASD has been gfcf corn free, soy free, sugar free & additive free for almost 12 months now (also avoid foods that have shown IgG/IgA sensitivity to). We do digestive enzymes, a comprehensive compounded supplement formula, megadoses of probiotics, CLO, Sachromyces Boullardii and amino acid formula. Gut health is much improved (although it is still quite rare to get a 'normal' stool). We still do intensive behavioural intervention around half days in mainstream school with a fantastic therapist as our aide, and ongoing speech therapy. Our biomedical journey has yielded slow but steady improvements for my daughter and we intend to begin AC chelation after our 6week trial of MB12 shots (we are now at week 4). Before ordering the shots, we had a 3/4 dose one off trial which my daughter amazed me with. Probably not significant gains in the eyes of parents with NT kids but great for us. My largely non-verbal daughter was introduced to another child the day after this first shot and actually said " Hi Anton, hi! " independently (although nothing like this since). She also became very calm & content with a 80% reduction in stims (this is a child with high anxiety and severe sensory problems). In the first few weeks of MB12 shots, her complexion has improved, we have seen some basic problem solving, a little imaginative play & improved auditory processing. Her articulation of words with PECS (she is the PECS poster child!!) also improved although at times it can be much worse than before. I'm not sure what to expect from the MB12 but just the feeling of well-being it seems to bring about in my daughter makes it worthwile so far. Just wanted to share. Kind regards,
