Hi Nick,

Sorry if I abbreviated this too much.

Compounds have a 'direction' to them. They can be left hand (levero) or

right hand (dextro). They are identical, but MIRROR IMAGE of one

another.

A few years back, they discovered a levero dextrose -- a left hand

sugar. It tasted a bit sweet, but did not react in the body, and just

passed through. They thought they had a breakthrough sweetener, with no

calories to worry about, but in the end, abandoned it as too expensive.

The body is set up to handle right hand (dextro) compounds. It can fully

assimilate them. But left hand (levero) compounds are only absorbed a

small amount. That is why its not a great idea to be taking amino acid

supplements that are labelled " L- " on them, as for example, L-arginine.

You need D-arginine, but it is very expensive to produce, because you

can only synthesize " L- " products.

The synthesized products come out as mirror image, or reverse spin. The

body barely recognizes them. They are not what it wants to assimilate.

They are not organic. Their sources are in petroleum byproducts for the

most part. Just like antibiotics.

Best of Health!

understand i should read a textbook, but short of that, and if anyone

is willing, i'd like to hear more, particularly about this " reverse

spin " .

thanks, if...

Dear ,

Actually, it just came to me. Bragg's Amino Acids (called Bragg's

Gourmet Seasoning in Canada) is all D-aminos. It is made from soy, and

tastes like soy sauce, but it is not fermented. It was developed by

Bragg the " father of health food " at the turn of the century.

We put it on rice instead of soyasauce, and it tastes the same, only not

as salty.

<<Well, so far in our scientific (hoho) study it appears as if a larger

proportion of our kids are left handed than the general population. I

understand that runs about 10 or 15 percent, can't remember which. We

seem

to have more than that so far. bowled with Spec. Olympics one

year

and there were 6 individuals with DS in the g roup. I noticed that 3 of

them

bowled left handed, that's what got me to wondering about it. I guess

it's

anything to make it a little harder for them. Jessie>>

Hi Jessie,

For a long time I couldn't decide what hand I thought was dominent for

Ted. I think for writing and eating it is mostly right unless I just

assume

this for him. In sport activities, playing catch and batting...he seems

to

use both equally well and equally as ofter.

Kaitlyn who is 7 is still trying to decide which hand with which to

write. She tends to favor left. She is most definitely dominant in

left eye, and left leg. and I are both right handed and and

Grant are right handed also.
