Craving vinegar

I was curious to know if there is any connection between pH

imbalance, heavy metal poisoning and craving vinegar.

As a child I used to crave and beg for a drink of vinegar (weird). My

mom would compromise and only give me a quarter-cup. (I had several

similar symptoms that I see in my son -- extreme anxiety, obsessive-

compulsive, etc.) Has anybody else seen a similar symptom?? Can

anyone speculate as to an organic cause?

Just curious,

Kathleen

I think one of the things you do for people who have too high an

ammonia level is to give them acid so they can pee more if it out.

Vinegar is also acetate, which easily forms acetyl-co-a for energy

production and may help jump start liver metabolism (as citrate also

does for some people).

How about yeast overgrowth? Vinegar feeds yeast quite well.

Re: [ ] Craving vinegar

I have come across diametrically opposed positions on this: apple cider vinegar

kills mold and is beneficial for candida problems; vinegar feeds yeasts and

worsens candida. Might the natural processes involved with producing raw apple

cider vinegar produce a beneficial product while the more common plain old (more

acidic) vinegar is harmful?

Apple cider vinegar is very rich in potassium which could be related to a

craving.

Typical grocery store vinegars use sulfites to age the vinegar quicker.

Naturally aged vinegar is available from health food stores.

Hi,

Sorry I can't answer all your questions but if you do have a Candida

problem vinegar and sugar will feed it and just drinking these

because you crave them is not healthy for you even if you didn't have

health problems. Just a suggestion but if you think you have a

candida problem you could do a simple CDSA/w sensitivity

[comprehensive diagnostic stool analysis] to test for what is there

and best how to treat it.

Find a good alternative doctor to help and do lots of research.
