ok, so on this thread i want to make sure i understand. my middle

son has had horrible teeth problems since his first molars came in.

i've always suspected the Oxygen he was on at 2 wks old for a wk in

the hospital. I also suspect it for some slow speech and slight

stutter, despite the fact he is brilliant. He had his first fillings

at 2 and has them constantly. We brush his teeth more than the other

boys and he is supposed to have flouride every night. he often

swallows some. So, should I stop the flouride treatments? Is this

harmful to Austin as well as Cole who uses it? And, should I go

have my teeth that are filled ripped out. LOL - how harmful am I

being to Austin?

Lynne,Fluoride as used to fluoridate water, for fluoride treatments, and

in toothpaste is toxic waste (also used as rat poison). It's toxic to everyone.

Find a mercury-free dentist to have your amalgam fillings replaced with

composite fillings. If pregnant or breastfeeding postpone this until

afterwards. S--- On Wed 10/23, boosis.geo & lt; boosis.geo@... & gt;

-Lynn,

Don't brush the silver fillings. This releases the mercury!

No, you should tell anyone local who he is.

I don't suppose he could be in Austin, could he?

Biological Effects of Fluorides

3. Fluoride depletes the energy reserves and the ability of white blood

cells to properly destroy foreign agents by the process of phagocytosis. As

little as 0.2 ppm fluoride stimulates superoxide production in resting white

blood cells, virtually abolishing phagocytosis. Even micro-molar amounts of

fluoride, below 1 ppm, may seriously depress the ability of white blood cells

Other Facts

The contents of a family size tube of fluoridated toothpaste

is enough to kill a 25 pound child.

In 1991, the Akron (Ohio) Regional Poison Center reported that " death has

been reported following ingestion of 16mg/kg of fluoride. Only 1/10 of an

ounce of fluoride could kill a 100 pound adult. According to the Center,

" fluoride toothpaste contains up to 1mg/gram of fluoride. " Even Proctor and

Gamble, the makers of Crest, acknowledge that a family-sized tube

" theoretically contains enough fluoride to kill a small child. "

Fluorides have been used to modify behavior and mood of human beings.

It is a little known fact that fluoride compounds were added to the

drinking water of prisoners to keep them docile and inhibit questioning of

authority, both in Nazi prison camps in World War II and in the Soviet gulags

in Siberia.

Fluorides are medically categorized as protoplasmic poisons, which is why

they are used to kill rodents.

The September 18, 1943 issue of the Journal of the American Medical

Association, states, " fluorides are general protoplasmic poisons, changing

the permeability of the cell membrane by inhibiting certain enzymes. The

exact mechanisms of such actions are obscure. "

Fluoride consumption by human beings increases the general cancer death

rate.

In 1975 Dr. Yiamouyiannis published a preliminary survey which showed

that people in fluoridated areas have a higher cancer death rate than those

in non-fluoridated areas. The National Cancer Institute attempted to refute

the studies. Later in 1975 Yiamouyiannis joined with Dr. Dean Burk, chief

chemist of the National Cancer Institute (1939-1974) in performing other

studies which were then included in the Congressional Record by Congressman

Delaney, who was the original author of the Delaney Amendment, which

prohibited the addition of cancer-causing substances to food used for human

consumption. Both reports confirmed the existence of a link between

fluoridation and cancer. (Note: Obviously Dr. Burk felt free to agree with

scientific truth only after his tenure at National Cancer Institute ended,

since his job depended on towing the party line).

Fluorides have little or no effect on decay prevention in humans.

In 1990 Dr. Colquhoun was forced into early retirement in New Zealand

after he conducted a study on 60,000 school children and found no difference

in tooth decay between fluoridated and unfluoridated areas. He additionally

found that a substantial number of children in fluoridated areas suffered

from dental fluorosis. He made the study public.

There is no scientific data that shows that fluoride mouth rinses and

tablets are safe for human use.

In 1989 a study by Hildebolt, et al. on 6,000 school children contradicted

any alleged benefit from the use of sodium fluorides. A 1990 study by Dr.

Yiamouyiannis on 39,000 school children contradicted any alleged

benefits from the use of sodium fluorides. In 1992 Perrone, a

legislative assistant in New Jersey, contacted the FDA requesting all

information regarding the safety and effectiveness of fluoride tablets and

drops. After 6 months of stalling, the FDA admitted they had no data to show

that fluoride tablets or drops were either safe or effective. They informed

Perrone that they will " probably have to pull the tablets and drops off the

market. "

The fact that fluoride toothpastes and school based mouth rinses are

packaged in aluminum accentuates the effect on the body.

In 1976, Dr. D. Allman and coworkers from Indiana University School of

Medicine fed animals 1 part-per-million (ppm) fluoride and found that in the

presence of aluminum, in a concentration as small as 20 parts per billion,

fluoride is able to cause an even larger increase in cyclic AMP levels.

Cyclic AMP inhibits the migration rate of white blood cells, as well as the

ability of the white blood cell to destroy pathogenic (disease-causing)

organisms. Reference: Journal of Dental Research, Vol. 55, Sup B, p. 523,

1976, " Effect of Inorganic Fluoride Salts on Urine and Tissue Cyclic AMP

Concentration in Vivo " . (Note: It is no small accident that toothpaste tubes

containing fluoride are often made of aluminum)

" Fluoridation is the greatest case of scientific fraud of this century "

Carlton, Ph. D., former U. S. EPA scientist on " Marketplace "

Canadian Broadcast Company, Nov. 24, 1992

" Regarding fluoridation, the EPA should act immediately to protect the

public, not just on the cancer data, but on the evidence of bone fractures,

arthritis, mutagenicity and other effects "

Marcus, Ph. D., senior EPA toxicologist, Covert Action, Fall 1992,

p. 66

Subject: Deadly Effects of Chlorine in Water

Dear Friends:

You must have a filter on drinking and bath water.

Willis

20 February 2000

Chlorinated tap water linked to birth defects

By Jacqui Thornton Health Correspondent and Martyn Halle

An independent study into the use of chlorine-treated drinking water

has been ordered by the Government because of fears that it may cause spina

bifida and stillbirths.

Scientists from Imperial College, London University, will carry out the

research after doctors in Norway, Canada and the United States reported

higher levels of birth defects in areas where chlorine is used, compared with

drinking water treated by alternative methods. All of Britain's water

companies chlorinate their supplies. The only people who have non-chlorinated

water are those with their own bore holes or wells.

A Norwegian study of 141,000 births over three years found a 14 per

cent increased risk of birth defects in areas with chlorinated water.

Scientists have already found an association between chlorine and an

increased risk of bowel, kidney and bladder cancer, but it is the first time

that a link has been found with higher levels of spina bifida.

Last night the Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association said it was

" concerned " by the findings and would be discussing them with medical

advisers before considering making representations to the Government. British

water industry experts have not dismissed the findings but said that the

safety benefits of purification outweigh the risks of birth defects.

Dr Per Magnus, who carried out the Norwegian research, said: " This is

an important finding because we know there are chemicals released by the

action of chlorine on organic particles at treatment works. We have observed

mutations in these chemicals which seem to tie up with mutations that are

found in babies. We were in a unique position in Norway to make these

observations because in some areas our water comes from the mountains and

doesn't require cleaning with chlorine. "

The Norwegian government has ordered more research. Concerned families

there have been filtering tap water. A popular method has been to place

sachets of coral sand, dredged from fjords, into water before it is drunk,

removing all traces of chlorine in tap water in 15 minutes. In Canada, at

Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia, researchers found that high levels of

trihalomethanes, a by-product of chlorine in drinking water, significantly

increased the risk of stillbirth.

Dr Marshall, of the Pure Water Association, a pressure group which

has been campaigning for safer drinking water, said: " It shows we should be

paying more attention to the chemicals we put in drinking water and be

looking for other alternatives to chlorination. A number of safe, non-toxic

options exist, such as treating water with the gas ozone or ultra violet. "

Chlorine is in the same chemical group as fluoride, which has been

linked with cancer and osteoporosis. There is also a connection between

fluoride and increased blood pressure and an increase in problems with the

thyroid gland. Fawell, a leading specialist on water quality, and an

independent industry consultant, said the British Government and water

companies were taking the danger of birth defects seriously. He said: " The

people who have done this work in Norway and the United States are reputable

researchers and the Government and water companies have commissioned their

own research from London University.

" But at present the conclusion of the World Health Organisation and

other concerned bodies is that the risk from contaminated water supplies

outweighs the risk to health from chlorine. Levels of chlorine and its

by-products have been falling in water and the amount coming out of the

average tap is half a millilitre per litre. "

hello Lynn,

regarding your amalgams: some people (including me!) have

their amalgams replaced. Ripping teeth out would get rid

of the amalgam, but replacing the amalgam is also possible.

And leaves you with teeth. Whether you want to do this

is a kinda complex decision. You might want to do it

just on general principle. Or you might want to get

a hair test on yourself done. Or you may just want

to consider it for a while. If you or the boys are

getting any new fillings put in I would sure not want

amalgam though.

best wishes,

Moria

Yes I have heard that too.
