suffering from candida and parasites, I just can't seem to

> get rid of them, no matter what I do.

I think one thing that has escaped us, and most people for that matter, is

the fact that parasites are bound in the presence of mercury---they find a

place of shelter where mercury is in our bodily tissues and really can hang

out.

It makes it very difficult to get rid of them.

Heavy metal toxicity has many symptoms that are similar to parasite and

candida problems, and probably most people have some heavy metal load that

needs to go. Especially if you have a mouthful of amalgam (mercury-silver)

fillings. There is also stuff like lead, aluminum, arsenic and cadmium to

worry about.

I didn't realize I had a heavy metals issue until I was tested for them, and

found to be high in mercury and arsenic. My husband was found to be high in

lead, aluminum and mercury. It took us both by surprise.

So, to adequately treat your body for parasites, you also have to deal with

the heavy metals issue.

I've gotten my 4 amalgam fillings removed, my husband is soon to get his

whole mouthful worked on. We've also been doing chelation therapy, (DMSA)

which is the only effective way to get rid of heavy metals, especially from

the brain.

Patty ... Thank you for this information. Where would I get tests done for

the metals, is it specialized? Is there info on parasites and heavy metals

on the Internet?

Go here and click on the link to Amalgam related websites:

http://hometown.aol.com/noamalgam

Dr. Cutler is an expert on chelation therapy using DMSA and lipoic acid to

eliminate heavy metal toxicity. He is very active on the autism treatment

newsgroup, and helps cure autistic kids.

Here is a paragraph I copied from a book called " The Rebellious Body " by

Janice Wittenburg, RN, relating the parasite issue:

" When heavy metals such as cadmium, aluminum, lead and mercury are absorbed

by the body, they reduce immune function by suppressing the phagocyte

response, interfering with formation and function of antibodies, and

increasing susceptibility to infection. When heavy metals overload the

system, the capability of organs such as the liver and spleen is

compromised, which interferes with their ability to act to reduce the toxic

load. In addition, other toxins, such as radioactive isotopes latch onto

heavy metals, binding each other into the body. And radionics experts

contend that parasites and candida are bound in place in the presence of the

heavy metal mercury. "

She goes on to state: " The clinical picture created by the presence of

excessive amounts of heavy metals includes allergies, fatigue, hair loss,

excessive fluid retention, and susceptibility to viral infections. "

There are several specialized labs that can measure your heavy metal load,

and they are not that expensive. Here are three sites:

www.doctorsdata.com

www.metametrix.com

www.gsdl.com

All will require a signature from a doctor, and I found the easiest way to

do it is to call them and ask what doctors from my area use their services.

You can measure toxic levels either through 24 hour urine tests, or hair

analysis.

Thank you for your detailed response. I am concerned about mercury and

fillings. Any new fillings I have now are composite. Through a previous

occupation I was in contact with lead, zinc, copper, silver ores and dust

and high levels of arsenic in water. Mercury also but only for a very brief

exposure.

I remember in school when the chemistry teacher brought out the mercury one

day and passed it around for us to look at.

How are people exposed to Mercury in the first place?

I have been drinking beet juice to get rid of Mercury toxicity. I read

that beet juice chelates with Mercury and many other toxic metals and

removes it through the urine. It purifies the blood.

Dave, You say mercury accumulations can be attributed to fish? I

thought fish was good for us! Is this only certain types of fish?

Generally, the predatory fish (the bigger and older the more

Mercury stored) at the top of the food chain, concentrate the

mercury and other toxins in their body that are present in the

prey that they eat.

Hi Carolyn,

I too hve the chronic hip pan. Does your leg sometimes want to give out

Just all of a sudden , because of a certain way you move & there is a

hurting in the groin area. Its very short. Back in 1989, at my job, I

did repetitive movement w/ my foot on a pedal on the floor. I am 5' 21/2

in., so my legs are short too. I would place a stack of cardboards on

the floor & put the foot pedal on top of that. Well, this was all day,

usng this pedal, I started having pain in my leg that got worse as days

passed, family doc prescribed tylenol 3, which made me sick. Went to

company doc. & he said it was inflamation, & Tylenol 3 is not for that

or heating pad which was also what family doc. prescribed. They took

pics. & said i had arthritis in my hip. The pain stoppedw/ a

prescription for inflamatiom. Atthe time this happened my mother was

dying of cancer & my sis & i moved in w/ her for the last 6 mos. of her

life. I had to use her walker to get to doc. pain was so bad. I had

scoliosis, so wonder if it could be flaring up again. My spine doesn't

look straight

God Bless, Patsy.

Yes, at any moment, either of my legs may give out - usually at the

knee. No hurting at the groin area. Someone described the knee pain

as an ice pick stab. That's it. Fortunately, it goes away just as

suddenly. But in the meantime I have doubled over because I've been

stabbed! Presents a little bit of a weird picture to anyone near!

Hip pain is just aching - sometimes more severe than other times. And

yes, it takes some kind of anti-inflammatory med to relieve that.

Heat also helps. Since I got the knee brace, the hip is actually

better - no surprise!

Appreciate your reply. Without doubt, there is a great deal of damage

in both of my knees. They have been " grinding " for years. One is

just about shot, from having had arthros. surg in 1988 and having

virtually all cartilage, and meniscus taken out and a ligament

repaired. The other knee is the one that gets the stabbing pain, and

I think it's because it has to do so much of the walking work, etc

because the other is so shot. Until I get replacements (which will

come at some point) my best therapy seems to be the " G-II Unloader "

brace that I've talked about here before. That relieves the pain in

the worst knee, while taking the load off the other one as well. I

don't get the stabs when I have the brace on.

I attribute my knee problems not to CMT itself, but to the effects of

having CMT, that is, the feet that turned inward for too many years

before I got orthotics, therefore resulting in great damage to the

knees.

Carolyn

> Carolyn,

> Lamar here,

>

> The knee pain you describe is usually associated with arthritic

spurs and / or a piece of cartilage that is free floating in the

bursus of the knee. The spur puts pressure on a nerve with certain

movements. The floater works it's way around (floating in the liquid

inside the joint) until it is on a nerve or between two contact

areas inside the joint. I have had both the above and they were

corrected by arthoscopic surgery. (In my case the " icepick "

progressed to a " TWISTING KNIFE " pain. I saw the films of my

surgery, and the surface of the joint looked like inside of a cave

with all the rock formations hanging down. Normally it is smooth and

glossy like a boiled egg. There were several floating fragments that

had worn to where they looked like little shiny pearls. At that time

I did not need a cane, but I did need a crutch following surgery for

a few days. I walked out of recovery, like most people do. The next

day I was able to drive about 600 miles. So it wasn't bad at all.

So far, seven years later, that part is still better. My knee is

weak and sometimes " buckles " due to the CMT, but the episodes of

severe pain are gone.

>

> While an examination by an orthopedist will often tell some,

usually a MRI is required for diagnosis. They may also aspirate the

knee with a needle to analyze the fluid for gout. Sometimes

injecting the knee with steroids helps.

Hi Trina

Sorry that Bill got his shorts in a knot, but I think you answered part of

the reason that he didn't come to mind, above. I haven't noticed him posting

lately, unless-like you said-he was posting under your name. The other

reason he didn't come to mind was that while I know he is a chemist, I

didn't think his background was in cosmetic chemistry. If I am mistaken

about that I apologize.

BTW while I was perusing your web site about a month ago, I emailed you

directly from your site re: your preservative system. I don't know if the

email got lost in the shuffle or not, but I didn't get an answer from you or

Bill. If it got lost, I can send it again, let me know.

Pat.

Several years ago my daughter in law had left a pair of earrings valued at $

1500.00 at my house so I wrapped and sent them to her via UPS. I paid the

insurance for the value, and ask them to get a signature. Guess what?

Several days later my D-in-L came home from work and found the package in the

bushes in front of her house. Good thing I put them in a large box. Maybe

they don't lose them so much, they are just so negligent that someone else

can derive the benefit instead of the recepient.

Spenco insoles help cushion your feet and absorb some of the shock

from walking, etc. I've seen them in chain shoe stores as well as

shoe repair stores, and I would imagine online as well, look under

accessories of shoe sites. I have had Spenco insoles for about 25

years now (not the same pair), they can be trimmed easily for custom

fit.

Hello--

The below reminds me of a problem I have. I don't know when to change

frequencies, because I never feel or notice anything when I train. For the

last couple of months, I have been training SMR up at C4. It seems not to

change, either during a session or from session to session. An exception is

that it seems to go down during a session, when I am training it to increase

amplitude, as if it is getting tired, or maybe I am getting bored. (I get

bored very easily.)

Frustrated at my lack of progress, I decided to narrow its band, thinking I

could train a little bit of it easier than all of it. That provided no

noticeable effect either at 12 or at 15. As there were fewer frequencies to

cross a threshold, it crossed the threshold less frequently, unless I

lowered the threshold.

Then I expanded the definition of SMR to include 11.5 and 15.5, thinking

that more frequent rewards at higher thresholds might encourage nearby

frequencies to increase as well. Of course, I got higher scores, but I

wasn't measuring the same thing as before. Is there any possibility that

this reasoning would work?

Thanks,

Gene

ROFLOL, Janet. Yeah that is until you can get a discount at the theater or

restaraunt for being a " senior citizen. " hee hee.

Seriously though, I agree. I bet you did match anyone's recovery; that is

why I think the age factor really has to do with the individual. I've just

been observing the folks around me here and clearly some people do better

than others.

There are folks though in these areas that are upwards of 80 and 90 and

they are struggling so much. My neighbor here cries out day and night for

family members that she has long since outlived.

No 60 is not elderly.

Hi!

I noticed some people looking for fill Dr.'s in Utah and thought I would

answer.

I grew up in Utah and go there often enough to visit family that I've

just decided to do my fills there instead of here in Texas where I had a

very bad experience (with the Texas Dr.)

There's a Dr. in Provo, Dr. McKeen who is in Utah every other week doing

fills and lap band surgeries. The other weeks he's in California in his

other office. He will do fills on Mexican bandsters but it's hard to

get in to see him since he's only in Utah every other week and his own

patients come first.

His office referred me to Dr. Green who is in MOuntain View Hospital in

Payson. He's a radiologist and he was trained by Dr. McKeen to do

fills. I had an excellent experience with him. He was very kind and he

is very respectful of the Mexican Dr's and the great lapband surgeries

that they do.

He does the fill under flouro. The fee is $150 to the hospital and $100

in cash to the Dr. If you are too full or have any problems with the

next couple of weeks he'll see you at no charge, even on the weekends.

I had a wonderful experience with him and recommend him. One of his

recpetionist is even a lap band patient. Dr. Green's number is

801-465-7089. When you call you'll get the radiology department and

just tell them you want a lap band fill. They are very helpful.

Let me know if you have any questions!
