With my first ep I was around 4 weeks (mid-June) when I first started having

signs that something was wrong. I was around 6 weeks (June 30) when I was

finally diagnosed. With my second ep I was around 2 weeks when I started

having symptoms and was diagnosed that night. I had known for 2 days that I

was pg at that point and my hcg dropped. That was not the sign that sent me

to the er, though. It was bc I could not walk without pain. That was the

sign I'm talking about. While I think hcg is a good indicator, I don't

believe it should be relied upon solely. But I knew my history and the

combination of the pain and the dropping levels were a clear indicator that

it was another ep for me.

Anyway. for me the signs were at around 4 weeks, and 2 weeks.

Hindy,

I was bleeding for six weeks before I decided to take a pg test (I'm

sure you're asking why even bother if you are bleeding, but none of

my clothes were fitting and that was the sign I had w/my 1st pg) and

it came up +. Three days after I did the hpt, I called my dr. who

did another test in her office and blood work, which showed a low hcg

level for how far along I was (when I had the lap(a wk and a half

after the hpt) for it they est. I was between 10-12 wks). So I would

probably say I started bleeding around 4 wks and had one day of

severe pain around 8 wks, pain like I had when my appendix began to

rupture 4 years earlier. . I don't know if this helps or not or puts

your mind at ease, but those are the symptoms. I will also tell you

that my sister and I both bleed (like around the time our afs are

due) when we are pg for the first trimester, so hopefully that is all

you are doing too and next year you will have a healthy baby.
